What is a strong Password and why?

Hackers don’t sit typing in passwords into other people’s accounts with the hope that they’ll strike lucky with their umpteenth guess. They instead use sophisticated software that will try millions of password combinations per second.
The easier your password, the quicker the software will be able to decipher it.
So, how can you ensure you have a strong password?
  • Make sure it is at least 8 characters long.
  • Don’t use full words or names of the dog or cat.
  • Use a combination of uppercase and lowercase letter.
  • Include numbers and symbols.
